Pride Night Returns to Nottingham Hockey Centre

On Saturday 21st March the club is hosting its second Pride Night event, celebrating inclusivity in the sport we all love. We’ll have bunting and decorations in the bar, rainbow corner flags on the pitch and armbands for the players, a pride themed playlist around the games, and live music in the bar afterwards.

The event will kick off from 4:00pm onwards with the start of the Women’s 1st team v Leeds fixture in England Hockey Division 1 North, followed by the Men’s 1st team v Southgate fixture in England Hockey Premier Division at 6:00pm.

There will then be live music in the bar from 8:00pm with drinks offers available to keep the party going late into the evening.

Griff Coffee will be open until just after half time of the Men’s game, the canteen will be open until 7:00pm with various food options, and weather permitting, Field of Fries will be open until 8:00pm serving loaded fries.

In addition to Pride Night, we are also celebrating World Down’s Syndrome Day with a Flyerz taster session from 4:30pm – 5:30pm. After playing for an hour, those involved will have the opportunity to meet the players after the Women’s 1st team v Leeds fixture, and walk out with the teams prior to the Men’s 1st team v Southgate fixture. More information can be found here.

Thank you to Leeds and Southgate for their contribution and support for both events!
